His designs are driven by the needs of individual musicians and artists - needs that are typically more specific than commercial offerings and more practical than academic research.<br>Recently he’s returned to his guitar roots, revisiting technologies such as pitch-tracking, sustainers, and polyphonic string processing, as well as exploring new directions like adjustable tuning systems, CNC-based fabrication, and digital signal transmission.
